British songwriting legend Nick Lowe discusses his new album The Old Magic and causing a riot in Australia.

Nick Lowe is a true legend of songwriting – ‘(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding’, ‘Cruel To Be Kind’, ‘So It Goes’ and many more.

He’s back with a new album The Old Magic and he recalls starting a riot in Australia with his second band Rockpile, ponders the absence of nostalgia in his new music, tricking himself into conjuring up fresh songs, self-deprecation, and being the songwriter’s songwriter.
