There will be a third edition of the cult classic Bill & Ted movies. Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have landed in 2019 to announce Bill & Ted 3 is on the way.

Winter and Reeves announced from The Hollywood Bowl, “we want to say thank you to you the fans because it looks like we might, actually, hopefully, make a move this summer. Bill & Ted 3 Face the Music”

“It is all because of you guys. We owe you a debt of gratitude. We want to say thank you and be excellent to each other,” they added.

The first movie ‘Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ premiered in 1989. It is the story of Bill (Winter) and Ted (Reeves), a couple of San Dimas, California no-hopers who form a band Wyld Stallyns only to discover that centuries in the future society is based on their music.

The sequel ‘Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey’ was released two years later in 1991. It starts 500 years in the future. Two killer robots are sent back to the 20th century to stop Bill & Ted from winning the Battle of the Bands and therefore stop their music influencing the future.

Keanu Reeves has been talking about a Bill & Ted reunion since 2010. Face The Music is expected to premiere mid-2020.
