The trailer for the documentary film of the last 48 hours of the life of LCD Soundsystem has hit the net.

The documentary follows James Murphy for the day before and the day after his act – the iconic New York indie-dance project LCD Soundsystem – played their final, mammoth show at Madison Square Garden on April 2 last year.

The show was an ebullient tribute to the ‘band’, featuring guest-spots from Arcade Fire and Reggie Watts among others, and ran for almost four hours.

The film covering the surrounding chaos is titled Shut Up And Play The Hits, and debuts at Sundance next week.

The production company, Pulse Films, has posted the trailer for it on YouTube. Check it out below.
