Mick Harvey To Direct Bowie In Berlin Australian Shows

Australia’s Mick Harvey has gathered a band to honour David Bowie’s Berlin years with the ‘Bowie In Berlin’ Australian tour.

Harvey of Nick Cave’s Bad Seeds/ PJ Harvey/ Birthday Party) will act as musical director of the show with vocalists Kylie Auldist, Dave Graney, Ron Peno, Kim Salmon and Max Sharam.

David Bowie’s Berlin years covered the albums ‘Low’, ‘Heroes’ and ‘Lodger’. The body of work, beginning with, ‘Low’ was released just as Bowie turned 30 years old.

The albums were made with Brian Eno and Tony Visconti, and with contributions from Carlos Alomar, Robert Fripp, Iggy Pop and Adrian Belew.

BOWIE IN BERLIN TOUR DATES

Friday January 6th – Brisbane, Triffid
Saturday January 7th – Sydney, Enmore Theatre
Sunday January 8th – Melbourne, Hamer Hall
Saturday January 14th – Perth, Regal Theatre
