There will be a few laughs at the Falls Festival with comedians announced for all events and extra artists for Lorne and Byron Bay.
With tickets already sold out to the Lorne and Byron Bay events, the Marion Bay event is your last chance to get to this year’s Falls Festival.
Heading up the comedy acts for all three events are Amos Gill, Dave Callan, David Quirk, Michael Hing, Ronny Chieng and The Shambles’ Nath Valvo.
With Lorne running an extra day than the other events, they have announced more acts including Born Ruffians, Dappled Cities, The Delta Riggs, Hiatus Kaiyote, M4sonic, the Smith Street Band, and many more.
Byron Bay has also announced extra acts including Born Ruffians, up-and-coming producer Wave Racer and a special DJ set from Roots drummer Questlove.
Unfortunately, due to illness, the Hot 8 Brass Band will not be touring with the event. But in some good news, they will be replaced by soulful, Clairy Browne and the Bangin’ Rackettes.
For those who still want to attend Falls but have grown up and had babies, Marion Bay have created a ‘family only’ campground, with kids 12 and under admitted free to the event. There will be an arts program that includes circus workshops, craft corners, sculpture classes, face painting and many other kid-friendly activities.
No word yet as to whether or not this is a crèche system whereby adult attendees can drop the kids off and relive their teen-years without the burden of nagging children.
