Pink The Truth About Love Is Fastest Seller Of 2012

The new Pink album ‘The Truth About Love’ is officially the fastest selling album of 2012 in Australia with 74,293 units being sold in the first week on sale.

Pink’s figure lifted sales for the entire chart with 551,000 units selling across the Top 500 albums compared to 463,000 last week.

Also debuting in the Top 10 were 2. The Killers ‘Battle Born’ (9576), 3. The Rubens ‘The Rubens’ (9144), 7. Seth Sentry ‘This Was Tomorrow’ (4518) and 8. Carly Rae Jepsen ‘Kiss’ (4067).

Other debuts this week on this week’s ARIA chart were.

11. Clare Bowditch ‘The Winter I Chose Happiness’
17. Grizzly Bear ‘Shields’
20. Various ‘Kanye West presents G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Summer’
21. Band of Horses ‘Mirage Rock’
