Dance-pop idol Ricki-Lee offers up a new single, ‘Crazy’, the cover for Fear & Freedom and a Brisbane launch show.
This third album has been a long time coming and former Australian Idol contestant Ricki-Lee has been building the hype with Platinum-selling singles ‘Raining Diamonds’ and ‘Do It Like That’.
And she just keeps going. She shot a video for her new single ‘Crazy’ at the site of the abandoned Callan Park Hospital For The Insane in Sydney but before that comes out, she’s popped the song up on YouTube. You can hear it below.
She’s also revealed the album artwork. She said, since the album “is all about unleashing your inner strength, rising above all the things that ever held you back and being free to do whatever you want to do in life” that she chose a cover with “that really epic, empowered and almost superhero-esque feeling about it”.
Into the bargain, there’s another date on her launch tour, this time for Brisbane. It’ll be at The Family ‘Fluffy; in Fortitude Valley on Sunday September 9. Tickets are on sale next Monday.
Fear & Freedom will be out on August 10.
