Back in 1979, Dave Graney and Clare Moore formed the post-punk band The Moodists. The group was critically acclaimed. Various members all went on to other things, Mick Turner with Dirty Three for example but Graney and Moore have always stayed together.

They dabbled as pop stars for a moment in time with Dave Graney and the Coral Snakes.

Now their latest project is Dave Graney and the MistLY. MistLY is the new, improved name for Dave and Clare’s Dave Graney and The Lucid Yello Mist.

Dave Graney joined us at Noise11.com to talk about the new album and a career dating back to 1979.

Listen to the Dave Graney Noise11.com Sessions featuring songs from Dave Graney and the MistLY.
