Marina Prior is Australia’s one most enduring musical theatre performers having performed non-stop since the start of her career 30 years ago.
Marina has appeared in the original Australian production of ‘The Pirates of Penzance’ (1983), ‘Camelot’ (1984), ‘Cats’ (1985), ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ (1990-1993), ‘West Side Story’ (1995), ‘Show Boat’ (1998), ‘Guys and Dolls’ (2000), ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ (2004), ‘Mary Poppins’ (2011).
She has toured with Jose Carreras, was a judge on ‘It Takes Two’, was Queen of Moomba in 1996 and also records her own albums.
Last year when Noise11 first caught up with Marina she had released her contemporary music album ‘Both Sides Now’ and now she has released ‘Encore’, an acoustic record of classics.
