Mo'ju has been announced as Australian Musician's Musician of the Month, a title that recognises artists whose careers have reshaped the Australian musical landscape. With a career spanning almost two decades, Mo'ju has become one of Australia's most fearless and compelling voices, fusing heritage, politics, storytelling and artistry.

Former Magic Dirt, now Bleak Squad member and most often out solo Aussie artist Adalita has been named Musician of the Month by Australian Musician for August 2025.

In exciting news for Australian Musician magazine, the Australian Music Association (which has published the magazine since 1995) has announced that it will transition ownership of the title to current editor and magazine co-founder Greg Phillips (trading as Mediaville) from July 1, 2023.

The Melbourne Guitar Show and Australian Musician will present Make Music Day Australia this Sunday to compensate for the lockdown lockout of the Melbourne Guitar Show which would have been on at Caulfield Racecourse this weekend.
