Rumors that the Rolling Stones were rehearsing in New York to appear on Saturday Night Live this Saturday night when Mick Jagger guest hosts have proven to be wrong.

Keith Richards has told Rolling Stone that he certainly won’t be there. “I spoke to Mick and he said it’s something that he said yes to many months ago, so he’s just doing it. He’s on his own.”

Jagger will still have a few high powered music guests helping him perform. According to info from the show, Jagger is the music guest but will be joined by Arcade Fire, the Foo Fighters and Jeff Beck.
