Abby Dobson To Release First Album In 10 Years

in News

Abby Dobson, the former singer for Leonardo’s Bride, will release her first album in 10 years in November.

‘Its Okay, Sweetheart’ follows up ‘Rise Up’ from 2007. Dobson produced the album in Nashville with Brad Jones (Matthew Sweet) and brought it home for Mike Paxton, Paul mac and Simon Dobson to finish off the final mix. (Dobson is Abby’s nephew).

The first single from the album is ‘Give Me Love’. “This song was one of those great ones where I wrote all the words first, before humming a melody or playing a single note. And so I didn’t have to bend any idea, word or meaning to the will of the music; I bent the music to the words. They’re usually my favourites; I don’t know why I ever write any other way”, Abby said.

Abby Dobson will tour ‘Its Okay, Sweetheart’ in November.
