Billy Joel Sets Stadium Tour Schedule For 2017

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on January 8, 2017

The Billy Joel concert train continues to run from coast-to-coast this year.

Of course, Joel continues to have his once-per-month residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden, one that will reach its 41st consecutive months with the newly announced show on May 25. So far, every one of his performances at the venue have been sell-outs and he has agreed to play monthly until there is no longer demand.

Outside of New York, Joel seems to be concentrating on stadiums this summer, hitting numerous major markets and, for the first time, doing a show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

Also on the schedule are stadium dates in Atlanta, Cleveland, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia.

The following is Billy Joel’s full concert itinerary for 2017, so far:

The Damned + The Hard Ons, Northcote Theatre, Friday 22nd March 2024

The Damned released the first ever UK punk single, “New Rose” off album Damned, Damned, Damned, in 1976, and were often overshadowed by their English punk counterparts. Now in their late sixties and still touring world-wide, featuring the original line up of Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies and Paul Gray, they are the ones having the last laugh and have left their old rivals for dead, in certain respects, quite literally!
