Members of Reclaim Australia are showing their true colours with a series of verbal attacks on Jimmy Barnes after the rock star told them to stop using his song at their racist rally.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday Barnes wrote, “None of these people represent me and I do not support them”.

The minority right-winged cult organisation Reclaim Australia responded to the Barnes statement posting and have agreed to stop using the Cold Chisel song “We are deeply saddened at the news of Jimmy Barnes asking us not to play his songs at our rallies. Mr Barnes, you have mistakenly believed incorrect news reports that Reclaim Australia is a racist group. This is not true…Inevitably at our rallies we unfortunately have some fanatics & we have tried our best to have them removed. We are & will continue to support you privately as you are an Aussie Icon, however if it’s your wish, we will no longer play your songs at our Rallies”.

What was initially a polite response turned ugly fast when Reclaim Australia followers added their comments.

‪John Taylor‪ wrote “Jimmy Barns, you are an idiot. Open your eyes JIMMY and look around. Have you not seen what is going on around you. muslims want to take over any country they are in. Look at England, USA, and Australia. Do you want your kids to grow up in a country that is all muslim”.

‬‪Lyn Keehn‪ posted “Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy , I hope your family’s future generations forgive your decision , whilst they are adjusting their Burkas to fit in to the atrocities that will occur under siege . Lost my vote . Jimmy Who !!!! Tsk tsk tsk‬”.

‪Leisel Finlayson‪ said, “Boycott Barnes. He has no clue, like the rest of them just jumps to the conclusion that we are racists and bigots without even trying to understand what we are fighting for!!!‬”

Scott Fogerty went right over the top, “My reply to Barnesy, So Barnesy is against equal rights for women, Barnesy condones Paedophilia, Barnesy is against equal rights for gay and lesbians, Barnesy Condones the execution of homosexuals, Barnesy condones female genital mutilation, Barnesy condones the beheading and persecution of thousands of Christians, Jews and Muslims at the hands of ISIS. WELL DONE BARNESY, Maybe you should educate yourself on what it is that Reclaim represent. Barnsey you have just jumped on the BandWagon with all the other denialists with their heads buried in the sand!”

Reclaim Australia also used John Farnham’s You’re The Voice’, Lee Kernaghan’s ‘Spirit Of The Anzacs’ and Men At Work’s ‘Down Under’ at their rally.

Over at Jimmy’s Facebook page, Matt Barnes articulated the situation‪. “Its disappointing that the need has arisen for you to post this. AUSTRALIA NEEDS TO GROW UP‬”.
