Boris Announce Australian Tour For March 2012

Japanese masters of rock weirdness, Boris, book a run of dates in Australia for March next year.

The band were guests of the VIVID Festival in Sydney earlier this year, bringing their experimental stew of acid-trip sludge rock and nervous indie pop.

In keeping with their unconventional approach, Boris released three albums this year: New Album, Heavy Rocks, and Attention Please.

And, as usual, they go everywhere – from turbocharged pop to atmospheric rock to grinding fuzz.

Tickets for the East Coast shows are on sale now from handsometours.com, the venues, and your city’s cooler record stores.

Check out a good example of their eclecticism in the clip below.

Boris Australian Tour 2012
Thursday March 22 – The Metro, Sydney
Friday March 23 – The HiFi, Brisbane
Saturday March 24 – The Corner Hotel, Melbourne
