Strollo ran his own personal training business, Profession Fitness. Springsteen listed him as ‘trainer’ is his 2008 tour program.

Strollo was 40-years old and left behind a wife and two daughters.

The fundraiser for the family was headlined by Boccigalupe and the Bad Boys, a group Springsteen often joined on stage.

Springsteen performed six songs with the band, ‘Soul Man’, ‘867 5309’, ‘Detroit Medley’, ‘Hold On I’m Coming’, ‘10th Avenue Freezeout’ and ‘Rosalita’.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will start their world tour on March 18 in Atlanta. Bruce is also scheduled as keynote speaker for the SXSW music conference in Austin, Texas on March 15.
