Bruce Springsteen will stream a new concert film documenting the Philadelphia finale of his 2026 Land Of Hope And Dreams American Tour on September 9.

Bruce Springsteen has released a trailer for Land Of Hope And Dreams American Tour (Philadelphia Freedom Cut), a concert film recorded with the E Street Band at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Center on May 30. The film will begin streaming on Wednesday, September 9, with Springsteen using the Philadelphia performance to frame the tour’s themes of democracy, resistance and political dissent.
The trailer opens with Springsteen addressing the Philadelphia audience before moving between his remarks and concert footage. “It is great to be in Philadelphia. We are here to call upon the righteous power of rock ‘n’ roll,” Springsteen says.
He then sets out the principles that shaped the tour, asking the audience to choose “hope over fear, democracy over authoritarianism, the rule of law over lawlessness, ethics over unbridled corruption, resistance over complacency, truth over lies, unity over division, and peace over war.”
The trailer closes with footage from “Streets Of Minneapolis”, Springsteen’s 2026 protest song, accompanied by images of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were killed by federal agents during an immigration enforcement operation in Minneapolis in January.
The Philadelphia concert was the final performance of the Land Of Hope And Dreams American Tour. The show had originally been scheduled for May 8 but was postponed because of an NBA playoff game involving the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks.
The 20-date American tour began March 31 at Minneapolis’ Target Center, where Springsteen introduced the political themes that would continue through the tour. The set incorporated songs from across his catalogue, including “Born In The U.S.A.”, “Death To My Hometown”, “American Skin (41 Shots)”, “The Ghost Of Tom Joad” and “Land Of Hope And Dreams”.
“Streets Of Minneapolis” became one of the defining new pieces in the programme. The song connected Springsteen’s long history of political songwriting with the events that occurred in Minneapolis earlier in the year. Its inclusion in Philadelphia gave the tour a contemporary reference point alongside songs written decades earlier.
The concert also featured Tom Morello, whose guitar and vocal contributions extended to several of the politically charged performances. Morello joined Springsteen for “War”, “Born In The U.S.A.”, “Death To My Hometown”, “Clampdown”, “American Skin (41 Shots)”, “Long Walk Home”, “The Ghost Of Tom Joad”, “Badlands”, “Land Of Hope And Dreams”, “American Land”, “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out” and “Chimes Of Freedom”.
The political dimension of the tour also drew criticism from Donald Trump, who referred to Springsteen’s performances during remarks at the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in July. Trump characterised the concerts as overly political and suggested the tour could be called “Bored In The USA”.
Springsteen has maintained a long association between his music and American political and social issues. Songs including “Born In The U.S.A.”, “The Ghost Of Tom Joad” and “American Skin (41 Shots)” have addressed war, economic inequality, immigration, policing and questions of national identity. “Streets Of Minneapolis” continues that tradition while responding directly to events from 2026.
The Philadelphia performance therefore functions as both a concert document and a record of the tour’s political emphasis. Rather than presenting a conventional retrospective of Springsteen’s career, the set placed longstanding catalogue material alongside a newly written song reflecting contemporary events.
The streaming release gives the Philadelphia concert a life beyond the final night of the tour. Springsteen has not disclosed further distribution details beyond the September 9 streaming date, leaving the film’s eventual availability and platform to be confirmed.
