Collarts To Host Music Industry Presentation With Tim Dalton

Tim Dalton, the Australian College of the Arts (Collarts) head of Creative Industries Management, will conduct the “How to Market and Promote Your Band or Music’ presentation of campus at Collarts on Wednesday evening.

Dalton, from the UK, worked with Beastie Boys, Simple Minds, Faith No More and Kirsty MacColl before relocating to Australia where he took up a position at Collarts in January, 2013.

The Australian College of the Arts offers full or part time students courses in Bachelor of Arts degrees in Music Contemporary Music Performance, Audio Production and Creative Industries Management.

The College has its open day tomorrow, April 24, from 5pm-8pm for students interested in a music career the chance to visit the campus and see what the college has to offer.

The Tim Dalton presentation ‘How To Market and Promote Your Band Or Music’ will be held at 6pm at Collarts, 55 Brady St, South Melbourne.

Applications for Timester 2 close on May 20.
