David Bowie mentor Lindsay Kemp has died at the age of 80.

Kemp staged Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust concert in London in 1972 and appeared in the Bowie video ‘John I’m Only Dancing’.

Kate Bush was also a Kemp student. She wrote ‘Moving’ on her debut album as a tribute to him.

Lindsay Kemp also starred in more than a dozen movies including ‘The Wicker Man’ (1973) and ‘Velvet Goldmine’ (1998).
