Deep Purple’s iconic 1973 live album ‘Live In Japan’ has been given a complete make-over.

Universal will release a new deluxe edition of the classic Deep Purple live album, Made in Japan, on May 19.

The new release, in certain configurations, is the first complete set of all three of Deep Purples shows from Japan on their 1972 tour, Osaka on August 15 and 16 and Tokyo on August 17. The original album was released in December 1972 in the U.K. and April 1973 in the U.S., peaking at 16 and 6, respectively. It has gone gold in the U.K. (more than 100,000 copies sold) and platinum in the U.S. (more than one million copies).

The new release has what may be the most dizzying array of release formats that we’ve seen yet. The album will be available as:

1-CD – Remaster of the original album from the 1972 mix, 16-page booklet
2-CDs – Original album in new 2013 mix, encores from all three nights from 1972 mix, 16-page booklet
