Tom Johnston formed The Doobie Brothers with Patrick Simmons in San Jose, California in 1970.

When the Doobie Brothers perform in a paddock in Deniliquin is Sunday it will be about as far away on the planet from where they started.

The second annual Deni Blues & Roots Festival will kick off in Denilquin on Saturday with The Doobie Brothers headlining the Sunday show.

The Doobie Brothers played Adelaide this week and performed a setlist of classics.
