Earth, Wind & Fire’s Philip Bailey has recruited his famous mates will.i.am, Chick Corea, Steve Gadd and Robert Glasper to assist him for his new solo album ‘Love Will Find A Way’.

Bailey’s album ‘Love Will Find A Way’ also has appearances from bass player Christian McBride, sax player Kamasi Washington, trumpeter Christian Scott, aTunde Adjuah, singer Bilal and sax player Casey Benjamin.

“Artists like Robert and Kamasi and Christian,” Philip says, “they embrace the nuances of jazz and its historical value, but they’ve really infused the game with new possibilities. And I’ve been the recipient of infusion.”

The first track from the album is Billy Jack with Robert Glasper.

Philip Bailey joined Earth, Wind & Fire in 1972. He was the lead singer of the hit song ‘Fantasy’ and co-vocalists on ‘September’ and ‘Serpentine Fire’.

In 1984 Bailey recorded his second solo album ‘Chinese Wall’, produced by Phil Collins. It gave him a number one hit with ‘Easy Lover’.

Why Queen’s Quietest Member John Deacon Chose to Become a Recluse Until This Rare Return

For fans of Queen, John Deacon has long been the enigma of the band, a brilliant musician, masterful songwriter, and humble presence behind the scenes. But now, years later, he has quietly resurfaced, lending his signature alongside bandmates Roger Taylor and Brian May on a charity auction item, signalling, perhaps, that even the most private of souls can still make their mark in unexpected ways.
