Ed Sheeran One-Man Show To Play Australian Arenas

by Paul Cashmere on September 24, 2014

in Live,News

Ed Sheeran will do what so few have done in the past, play Australian arenas as a one-man show.

When we heard Ed was going to perform in some of Australia’s largest venues by himself, (i.e.: with no band, just Ed and his guitar and peddles), our research turned up that you would need to go back to John Denver’s shows in the 80s and 90s to find someone who had filled the countries largest venues by himself.

Ed Sheeran will perform completely solo and not only that, he has a one price ticket at a low price for an Arena. “Ed wanted to ensure that his shows were accessible to all of his fans. It’s incredibly rare these days to have all tickets at one price in arena venues but Ed wanted to make it happen,” head of Frontier Touring Michael Gudinski said “Ed wanted to ensure that his shows were accessible to all of his fans. It’s incredibly rare these days to have all tickets at one price in arena venues but Ed wanted to make it happen.”

“I applaud that Ed wants to look after his fans. He remembers lining up as a kid to get good tickets and believes that any fan should have the chance to get the best seats, not just the ones with the most money. I wish more artists would take this initiative!”

All tickets will be $99 + booking fee.
