Ella Hooper’s upcoming Data Dust tour dates in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney will give fans a chance to preview songs from her upcoming release live for the first time.

“I’ve been working on a new EP or mini album over the last few months and playing the new tracks live before they’re released is a great way to see what’s really connecting with my audience before I put the final touches on the songs,” says Ella. “Also, its just fun to play this style of upbeat, retro rock-flavoured pop live – it feels great! I love the kind of characterful rooms we’re playing too, lots of atmosphere suits this band.”

Ella recently performed Data Dust for Eurovision Australia Decides.

Sharing new music live is important to Ella. “I think it’s the wonderful feedback loop you create when you share something of yourself, your art, it touches and moves someone else,” she says. “It’s a special relationship that exists in that moment full of trust and intimacy, but also raw power and shared emotion.”
