Horsehead formed in 1990 and released their debut self-titled album on Mushroom in 1993. The band broke up in 2000.

Since the break-up Scott has been working as a studio musician and is a current member of Screaming Jets. Andy has continued songwriting.

“We are excited to be bringing these songs into the studio environment and cant wait to send them out to the world in the form of a brand new album,” Scott and Andy said in a statement. “We will revisit the guitar based melodic rock genre we are known for and are really enthused with the results so far. With the support and involvement of some of the best players that we have both worked with over the years, we are gearing up to produce the best record we have ever made”.

Fans who pledge towards the recording costs all receive a digital download of the album and the various pledges have options for the album on CD, collectors editions, your name in the liner notes, an invite to the listening party and an executive producer credit on the album.

Check out the PledgeMusic page for Scott and Andy to contribute.
