Guns N Roses Melbourne Show Date Revealed On Billboard

by Paul Cashmere on August 15, 2016

in Live,News

Guns N Roses have used a billboard in Melbourne to announce their Australian tour for 2017.

The tour was revealed above the historic Young and Jackson pub in Flinders St, Melbourne with ‘They’re back. Guns N Roses 14 February at the MCG’.

The Axl Rose Guns N’ Roses line-up played Melbourne in March 17, 2013. Rose also toured solo under the Guns N’ Roses banner in 2007.

The last time a Guns N’ Roses line-up with Slash toured Australia was 1993 at Calder Park Raceway and prior to that 1988 at the Sports & Entertainment Centre.

The official announcement for the Guns N’ Roses Australian tour was due Wednesday. That’s obviously all changed.

Guns N Roses is currently Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and Dizzy Reed from the early days with Richard Fortus from the recent band and Melissa Reese and Frank Ferrer.
