Hillsong may be the only Australian winners at the Grammy Awards this year. The Sydney based church group has won the award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for ‘What A Beautiful Name’.

Hillsong aren’t the only Australians nominated this year. Nick Cave, Sia and Mansionair were also up for awards but were not successful.

Sia was nominated for Best Song Written for Film or TV for ‘Never Give Up’ from the movie ‘Lion’. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds were nominated for Best Music Film for ‘One More Time With Feeling’. Sydney’s Mansionair missed out on the Best Dance Recording for ‘Line of Sight’.

New Zealand’s Lorde is nominated for Album of the Year. That award is still on the way.
