Israel’s Ninet Tayeb Performs With The Dead Daisies

Ninet Tayeb, one of the incredible voices to watch in 2014, performed with Australian supergroup The Dead Daisies at their one-off show in Israel on December 21.

Ninet joined The Dead Daisies at the Barby Club in Tel Aviv to sing Gnarls Barkley’s ‘Crazy’ alongside Jon Stevens and Davy Lowy with Guns ‘N Roses members Dizzy Reed and Richard Fortus and Rolling Stones bass player Darryl Jones.

Ninet Tayeb is a name to watch for 2014. The 30-year old Israeli singer became a household name in the region when she won Kochav Nolad, Israel’s version of Pop Idol, in 2003.

In 2006 she Ninet released her debut album ‘Barefoot’. Her second album ‘Communicative’ followed in 2009.

Ninet was named Israel’s favourite act of 2009 and 2012 at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Ninet Tayeb is also a recognisable face on screen in Israel. She has acted in the movie ‘Kirot’ and also played the role of Wendla Bergman in the rock musical ‘Spring Awakening’.
