Joe Jackson, the father of the Jackson clan, has undergone surgery in Sao Paolo, Brazil after suffering a stroke and three heart attacks.

While there is some conflicting in sources, Roger Friedman at Showbiz411, reports that Jackson suffered a burst artery behind his eye which led to the stroke.

Something then happened with his heart, which TMZ is reporting to have been three heart attacks, and he was rushed into surgery to install a pacemaker.

Both sources say that Jackson’s heart stopped for ten seconds but he was successfully revived.

The surgery was performed at Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paolo, Brazil. The family would like him flown back to the U.S. as soon as possible with the Michael Jackson estate offering to take care of all arrangements; however, his health is a bit too tenuous for the strain of lengthy travel.
