Check out the new Joe Jackson song ‘Friend Better’

Joe Jackson sounds a lot like Joe Jackson with his new song ‘Friend Better’.

Jackson is releasing his 20th album ‘Fool’ this week (18 January 2018). The album was produced by Jackson with Pat Dillett (David Byrne, Glen Hansard).

Joe sounds like Joe because the band is Teddy Kumpel on guitar, Doug Yowell on drums, and long-time collaborator Graham Maby on bass, who was with him on his debut album ‘Look Sharp’ 40 years ago.

Joe hit the 40th anniversary of the release of his debut single ‘Is She Really Going Out With Him?” four months ago. The now classic song was released in September 1978.
