in News

34-year old Jeremy Marou of Australia’s Busby Marou is recovering in Rockhampton after suffering a heart attack last week.

Marou was playing touch football when the heart attack hit. His right artery was 99% blocked.

Ironically, Marou’s father died of a heart attack while playing touch football on the very same football field 15 years ago.

Busby Marou confirmed Jeremy’s condition on the band’s Facebook page.

YES the rumours are true:
1. The tour is almost sold out!
2. The album is now available on vinyl
3. Jeremy had a heart attack after playing Oztag and is recovering well in hospital.

He’s going to be very bored over the next few days so please send your messages to keep him occupied!

Jeremy Busby formed Busby Marou with his friend Tom Busby in Rockhampton in 2009. They became the first signing to Warner Music imprint Footstomp Music.

Busby Marou’s third album ‘Postcards From The Shell House’ was released in February 2017. It debuted at number one of Australia’s ARIA album chart.
