Jerry Speiser Is The Man At Work For Dirty Rascal

by Paul Cashmere on July 19, 2018

in News

Former Men At Work drummer Jerry Speiser has been the man at work on the new Dirty Rascal album ‘You Be The King’.

Speiser acted as producer for the Dirty Rascal debut and recorded ‘You Be The King’ at Newmarket Studios in Melbourne. Jerry also co-wrote the track ‘What Would Love Do’.

“Recording the album ‘You Be The King’ was a challenging and transforming experience. I was challenged as a songwriter and a singer and, through the process, gained a greater vision of who we are and what we can do as band, says singer and principal songwriter Andrew McSweeney.

The lineup includes Andrew McSweeney (Midnight Hunting Crew) & John Fleming (Scared Weird Little Guys/ARIA award winner), along with rhythm section, Jerry Speiser (Men at Work) and Andy Dixon (New Geisha) rounding out the crew.

Dirty Rascal’s debut album is ready to roll on August 3.
