John Waite Announces First Ever Aussie Tour

Former Bad English and The Babys frontman John Waite is heading to Australia for the very first time.

Waite first broke into the global charts with The Babys ‘Isn’t It Time’ in 1977 and two years later had another Top 10 global hit with ‘Everytime I Think Of You’.

When he went solo in 1982, he scored his first hit under his own name with ‘Missing You’, later covered by Rod Stewart and Tina Turner.

In 1989, he was fronted Bad English and had another global hit with ‘When I See You Smile’.

More recently, Waite has been touring as part of Ringo Starr’s All Star Band performing his own hits alongside Ringo’s Beatles’ classics.

His Australian touring band will feature Alice Cooper guitarist Keri Kelli.
