The band performed a final, triumphant show at Madison Square Gardens last year. The performance was captured in a documentary Shut Up And Play The Hits which will be airing in cinemas on Wednesday July 18 in the US.

But there may be one more song from the lauded act. Ringleader James Murphy told the New York Times that a director has asked the group to cover a song for a soundtrack. Murphy wouldn’t reveal who the director is, but did say that the group “seems to want to do” it.

Murphy’s latest post-band venture is opening a store in Brooklyn called the House Of Good, which will essentially sell good things, including shoes and socks, coffee, candy, and luggage designed by the man himself.

Check out the euphoric trailer for Shut Up And Play The Hits below.
