Macy Gray To Release Her 10th Album

The legendary and multi-award winning, multi-platinum selling singer, songwriter and actress Macy Gray has confirmed today that she will be releasing her tenth studio album titled Ruby on Artistry Music, a Mack Avenue label this fall. Talking exclusively to Billboard Magazine about the record today, Macy revealed the album will be “gritty and grimy and dirty,” and have elements of pop, R&B and jazz.

Ruby is the follow up to her critically acclaimed jazz covers album “Stripped” which dropped in 2016 and sees Macy Gray collaborate with esteemed producers Johan Carlsson (Ariana Grande, Michael Bublé , Maroon 5), Tommy Brown (Jennifer Lopez, Fifth Harmony, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande) and Tommy Parker Lumpkins (Janet Jackson, Justin Bieber, Kelly Rowland), and will be releasedworldwide this fall.

This month Macy will be bringing her full live band to New York City and performing for two nights only at the prestigious The Studio at Opry City Stage on May 23 and May 24.

Macy will be performing two intimate shows at The Studio at Opry City Stage, located on the 4th floor ofthe Grand Ole Opry’s first ‘home away from home,’ where they continue to spotlight the music industry’s top hit makers with their premiere events.

Macy will also be performing for two nights at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club on May 25 & 26.

With a career that includes multiple Grammy, Billboard, MTV and BRIT Awards, and record sales of over 25 million worldwide, the integrity and innovation of Macy Gray’s artistry has allowed her to forge her own path to success and win fans and critics from all around the world.
