Mastodon Cancel All Upcoming Dates Due To Family Matter

All upcoming shows for Mastodon have been cancelled.

The band issued this statement today explaining the cancellation. “Mastodon regretfully announce they must cancel their upcoming shows that were to take place from August 7th through September 3rd due to a personal family matter. Mastodon will return to the road in Latin America in Late September. The September 5th show in Iceland has been rescheduled for December 5th. Please see below for all cancelled dates”.

The cancelled shows include the two upcoming dates with Metallica in Russia later August and the bands appearance at the Heavy Montreal Fest earlier in the month.

August 25, St Petersburg, Russia
August 27, Moscow, Russia
August 29, Reading, England
August 30, Leeds, England
August 31, Istanbul, Turkey
September 2, Thessaloniki, Greece
September 3, Athens, Greece

The next scheduled Mastodon show is December 5 in Reykjavik, Iceland.
