After 20 years one time Bad Seeds member Mick Harvey has completed his third volume of Serge Gainsbourg songs ‘Delirium Tremens’.

Harvey released volume one ‘Intoxicated Man’ in 1995 and the second instalment ‘Pink Elephants’ in 1997.

Of the new album Mick says, “Many of the songs I have recorded are ones I had hoped to translate the first time I approached this material but I just thought they would be ones that were too hard to translate. But once I sunk my teeth into the task I found they were no more problematic than most of the songs from the first two albums. The whole project has just been enormous fun to be honest.”

‘Delirium Tremens’ was recorded firstly in Melbourne at Birdland Studios and then in Berlin.
