Britain’s postal service Royal Mail will issue a series of stamps honouring Pink Floyd.
The limited edition Pink Floyd stamps, featuring artwork from some of the band’s most famous album covers and some concert imagery, will be released on July 7, 2016.
The top of the line collector’s purchase is the Pink Floyd Limited Edition Bundle for £104.98 with a Wish You Were Here framed stamp and print, a Dark Side of the Moon maxi sheet and a Syd Barrett souvenir cover. The Barrett cover is also available stand-alone for £24.99.
Albums featured on stamps are The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Atom Heart Mother, The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Endless River.
Live concert images start at the UFO Club in 1966 and also include the 1974 Dark Side of the Moon tour, 1981’s The Wall tour and 1994’s The Division Bell tour.
