Russell Morris To Showcase Red Dirt Red Heart In Special Melbourne Show

Russell Morris has a hometown date set to showcase the ‘Red Dirt Red Heart’ album, the third part of his blues trilogy.

The Russell Morris Band will perform songs from ‘Red Dirt Red Heart’ as well as the previous two albums ‘Sharkmouth’ and ‘Van Diemen’s Land’ at the Shoppingtown Hotel in Doncaster on December 18.

‘Red Dirt Red Heart’ was released three weeks ago. The third of the historic recordings focuses on stories of central Australia and Australia’s indigenous people, the world’s oldest continuous race who have been caretakers of the land for over 40,000 years.

‘Red Dirt Red Heart’ debuted at number one on the ARIA Blues Chart and come in Top 10 on the ARIA Australian artist chart.

Russell, and the producer of the trilogy Mitch Cairns, talk about every track on ‘Red Dirt Red Heart’ this week on Noise11’s iHeartRadio show all this week until midnight Friday. Listen on-demand at anytime before then to hear every song and every song explained.
