Nicki Minaj is ‘so sad’ after two of her crew members were stabbed during an altercation in Philadelphia on Tuesday.

According to TMZ De’Von Pickett, 29, who worked as the rapper’s road and tour manager was killed while another crew member, 27-year-old Eric Parker, was left in a critical condition. And the Super Bass singer seemingly confirmed the reports by posting a photograph of the two men on Instagram on Wednesday morning.

‘These guys flew into Philly for my tour rehearsals 2 days ago and were both stabbed last night. #RIPDAYDAY condolences to your family. Unbelievable,’ she wrote. ‘Eric (on the right) is recovering. Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad.(sic)’

The 32-year-old shared a photograph of the two men which the rapper Faboluous had previously posted while expressing his sadness for his close friends.

The two men were stabbed following a bar fight at Che Bar & Grill in Philadelphia’s West Oak Lane neighbourhood according to NBC 10 Philadelphia.

‘We believe that both of the victims, as well as the perpetrator, were all inside of this bar and that’s when an argument started,’ Chief Inspector Scott Small told the station.

A number of witnesses told authorities that the altercation may have had to do with a recently fired employee, but this is yet to be confirmed.

Nicki’s friend and fellow rapper Faboluous couldn’t contain his grief earlier on Wednesday.

‘My friend [De’Von Pickett] (left) died & my friend Eric Parker is in critical condition in the hospital fighting for his life,’ the rapper Faboluous wrote alongside the picture of the two victims. ‘I am still in shock & don’t want to believe this.(sic)’
