Nicki Minaj is reportedly planning an imminent wedding to Meek Mill.
The rapper and her boyfriend sent the rumour mill into overdrive when Nicki sported a huge diamond on her ring finger recently. While she denies it’s an engagement ring, sources now claim Nicki does envisage walking down the aisle soon.
According to TMZ, Nicki has been open with her friends and said she’s “deeply in love” and wants to tie the knot “soon”. Meek apparently feels the same way, reportedly telling pals he wants to have kids with Nicki.
However, the ring reportedly really is just a piece of jewellery Nicki was gifted for her birthday.
Meek is facing legal issues at the moment and on Thursday (10Dec15) Nicki supported her man in court.
Meek was in court in Pennsylvania for a parole violation hearing, with Nicki taking to the stand to tell the judge her beau is a changed man.
The musician is in trouble for reportedly violating parole in a 2009 drug and gun case by repeatedly changing his court-approved travel schedule, and accompanying Nicki to the recent American Music Awards in Los Angeles without the permission of his probation officer.
Meek is due back in court on 17 December (15).
The couple isn’t letting his legal problems get in the way of their happiness, with Nicki recently gushing about how content she is.
“Shout out to everybody in the world that’s just trying to find love or be happy,” she told Billboard magazine. “Everybody should have someone to hold at night. It really, really changes your energy. I find that my energy is very different afterward – if I’m in the bed with him, just hugging him all day. It’s just, like, something about love. You transfer it. It’s infectious.”
