When violin virtuoso Nigel Kennedy tours Australia in 2019 the guitarist flanking him is Doug Boyle, previously of Robert Plant’s band.

Boyle was with Plant from 1987-1992. He played on the Robert Plant album ‘Now and Zen’ featuring the hits ‘Heaven Knows’ and ‘Tall Cool One’. He also played on Plants ‘Manic Nirvana’ (1990) and some tracks of 1993’s ‘Fate of Nations.

Kennedy’s band is a combo of four musicians. His longtime guitarist Rolf Bussalb is part of the band, his cellist is Peter Adams from the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra and double bass player is Piotr Kulaowski.
