Violinist Nigel Kennedy will return to Australia in 2019 to perform the music of Bach, Gershwin and his good self.

Prodigy Kennedy became a student of music at age 7. At 16 jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli invited him at appear at Carnegie Hall.

Kennedy was a late-comer to recording, making his first record at age 27 with Elgar’s Violin Concerto. His recording of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons in 1989 sold over 2 million copies.
