Nile Rodgers has revealed the line-up for his FOLD Festival in New Jersey in August and it is compelling.

FOLD (FreakOutLet’sDance) will feature Rodgers with Beck, Duran Duran, Janelle Monae, Pharrell Williams and Chaka Khan.

Rodgers named the line-up via his Facebook page today.

“I’ve got my own festival called FOLD (FreakOutLet’sDance) starring ‪#‎Beck‬‬ ‪#‎DuranDuran‬‬ ‪#‎JanelleMonae‬‬ ‪#‎Pharrell‬‬ ‪#‎ChakaKhan‬‬ & many more in Riverhead, NY Aug 4 & 5 – It’s going to be one of a kind amazing! I promise”.

The two-day festival will run from 3pm to 11pm each day but will also include a children’s festival timeslot from 9am to midday. The festival is expected to draw 10,000 people. A portion of proceeds will be donated to local charities.

Nile Rodgers recently completed work producing the next Duran Duran album. The first single ‘Pressure Off’ will be released in September.

Rodgers will also release his first Chic album since 1992 shortly. The released date for ‘It’s About Time’ is still to be announced.
