The 2012 London Olympic Games will close with a tribute to British music titled ‘A Symphony of British Music’.

The just published Sunday Telegraph is reporting Kate Bush, George Michael, a reformed Spice Girls and the recently hushed Ed Sheeran will all be there.

Ed Sheeran was sent to the naughty corner when he announced in Australia that he would be performing ‘Wish You Were Here’ with Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd denied they would be on the closing ceremony and Ed was told to zip it, zip it good.

According to the Telegraph, expect to see Ray Davies from The Kinks perform ‘Waterloo Sunset’, and appearances from Annie Lennox, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah, Russell Brand, Eric Idle of Monty Python fame and The Who.

The Olympics finale will start at 6am EST Australia Monday (August 13).
