Palace of the King have recruited tattoo artist Kristian Kimonides to create an original painting as the artwork for their second album ‘Valles Marineris’.

Palace of the King have always prioritized the visual component of their recording. The Kimonides painting was inspired by the lyrics and music of the ‘Valles Marineris’ album.

‘Valles Marineris’ moves on musically for Palace of the King who have been performing around the world since the release of the debut album. “I feel like we’re really honing in on our own distinctive sound now,” says singer Tim Henwood. “I love our early recordings but after traveling around the world and playing over 300 shows in our first three years as a band, we’re growing and evolving. It’s real, it’s from the heart and we can’t wait to let this one out of the box.”

The ‘Valles Marineris’ album will be released firstly in Europe in July 15 and then Australia two weeks later on July 29.
