Australian singer songwriter Paul Kelly has recorded an Archie Roach classic with Australia’s international success of 2015 Courtney Barnett.
In a post on his Facebook page, Paul wrote, “Celebrated the first day of Spring yesterday recording Archie Roach’s song Charcoal Lane with Courtney Barnett. Dan Luscombe at the controls. To come out later this year. PK”
Paul Kelly will induct Archie Roach into The Age Music Victoria Hall of Fame on 20 November 2015.
Patrick Donovan, CEO of Music Victoria said, “This is a very special night for the inductees so we asked them to nominate someone in their careers to have the honour of inducting them on the night. We are thrilled that some of the biggest names in the industry will be joining us in this massive celebration”.
