Pink has signed a new recording contract with RCA Records that will see her with the labels for many more albums to come.

P!nk said in a statement, “I am super duper excited to continue onwards and upwards with RCA and my team there. We work really well together and they care in a way that artists don’t get to see very often anymore. I look forward to whatever the future holds for us and am so beyond thrilled with how much they believe in me. Woohoo rock n roll!”

Pink’s last album ‘The Truth About Love’ debuted at number one in seven countries including Australia and the USA. Despite the downturn in the music business the album gave Pink her highest ever first week sales.

Pink’s Australian manager Roger Davies says, “I’m very happy that we are continuing our excellent relationship with Pete, Tom, Joe and the entire RCA Team. Our long standing relationship has made them part of our family. They really understand how we work and we are looking forward to working with them in the future.”

Pink’s played 142 shows in 13 countries on her recent ‘The Truth About Love’ tour. In Melbourne, she broke the record for most shows by a performer in one venue when she clocked up 18 shows to 250,000 fans at Rod Laver Arena breaking her own previous record set in 2009.
