Pond Release New Video For ‘Moth Wings’

“Hottest band in the world”, Perth psych-rockers Pond, offer a freaky handmade video for ‘Moth Wings’.

That “hottest band” appellation is courtesy of UK tastemakers NME from May this year, and we gotta admit that Tame Impala offshoot band Pond are pretty damn cool.

They released their fourth album ‘Beards, Wives, Denim’ in March this year and toured across the US to celebrate.

Now they’ve concocted a loopy video, solely on their iPhones, for the new single ‘Moth Wings’.

Pond will appear at Splendour In The Grass this Friday in Byron, as well as scooting around the nation in September for Perth, Sydney and Melbourne dates, as well as a slot at Fat As Butter in Newcastle.

Check the dates under the clip.

Pond Tour 2012
Saturday 15 September – The Bakery, Perth
Thursday 20 September – Metro Theatre, Sydney
Saturday 22 September – Fat As Butter Festival, Newcastle
Sunday 23 September – The Corner Hotel, Melbourne
