Killing Heidi have announced their first national tour in a decade.

The band from reunited for their 20th anniversary at the Queenscliff Music Festival in November 2016 and added a Zoo Twilight concert for Sydney and Melbourne.

The reunion will continue in June.

“Killing Heidi live was always where it was at for me. I feel we’re better than ever now as we’ve never stopped playing music and we can dial it up to a whole new level. But the essence is the same. It’s exciting and emotional for both us and the fans!”, says Ella Hooper

“Killing Heidi was a big part of my youth and I can’t wait to perform these songs live for the people who loved them too. We’ll play all our biggest hits from our first singles Weir and Mascara through to our later releases like ‘I Am’ and ‘Calm Down’ ” added her brother Jesse Hooper

Killing Heidi dates

June 2, Perth, The Astor Theatre
June 3, Adelaide, The Gov
June 8, Sydney, The Metro
June 9, Melbourne, 170 Russell
June 10, Brisbane, The Tivoli

Beth Gibbons by Mary Boukouvalas
Rising Festival, Beth Gibbons, Hamer Hall 1st June 2025 #REVIEW

The blue-coloured- light drenched the stage, signifying the trademark colour of Rising. Beth Gibbons is here as part of Rising festival to showcase her solo album, Lives Outgrown, with a seven- piece band of musicians. Gibbons last toured Melbourne 15 years ago with proponents of trip hop, Portishead, appearing at Harvest Festival. There she was bathed in the golden afternoon rays of sunlight, but now she’s obscured by stage lights in alternating hues. Her musicians are backlit and positioned either side of the stage in groups of three and the keyboardist is in the centre behind Gibbons.
